The white center piece is 19.5″x 23.5″. The the plain orange border around that is 1.75″ wide (or 2.25″ wide if you include seams). The random squares are 4.25″ x 4.25″. The finished quilt came out at 49″ wide x 54″. The smaller plain orange border was 1″ finished width or 1.5″ including the seams. The scalloped border is 3.5″ at the widest finished width or 4″ (including seams). I put a witch for the center applique but you could also do a cat or pumpkin or whatever you want. Once the applique was done the rest of this quilt went together super fast. I got lucky to that a bunch of the fabric was given to my by my mom. I put the large rickrack around the applique. I quilted this myself on just a regular sewing machine. There is a switch (picture) and a foot (picture) for quilting. Its super fun to quilt smaller quilts. I used gold thread for quilting, which really added a nice touch.
