Fresh herbs in cooking and salads is the best! But if you are like me every time I need fresh herbs (cilantro, basil etc) I have to run to the store and get some. They don’t keep for long in the fridge. So I bought some cute pots and planted the herbs that I use the most. I planted cilantro, sweet basil, thia basil, chives, peppermint, spearmint, and thyme.
The dishes I like to make where I use these herbs is Spring Rolls (thia basil, cilantro and peppermint), tacos (cilantro) and bruchetta (sweet basil). I love using fresh herbs in my meals not only for the exceptional taste but they also have a lot of health benefits (for example basil is anti viral).
