Pavers have an advantage over concrete because if concrete cracks you often have to replace the whole patio whereas with pavers you can simply replace the cracked or damaged pavers and not the whole patio. Pavers are generally more expensive than concrete patios. Pavers can be “sealed” to help with maintenance and keep the weeds from growing in the cracks between the pavers.
There are many choices in pavers, many colors, shapes and sizes. Consider the color of your house and choose a color and style that will complement it.
